The Adelaide Jewish Museum website has very useful articles on the the Jewish history of South Australia.
John Monash: Engineering enterprise prior to WW1 is an extensive website maintained by Dr Alan Holgate,a structural engineer. The website is mostly at a popular level, but includes sections discussing the computation method used by Monash and his partner in the design of the Fyansford bridge, near Geelong, and detailed descriptions of bridge building practice.

The Rookwood Cemetery has been the location for Jewish burials in Sydney for over 100 years. The website of the responsible Jewish Cemetery Trust is a valuable genealogical and historical source, as it gives genealogical information for (almost) every internment, together with an image of the headstone.

Historical Tales
Its well known that a German Jew, Teddy Thonen was the first miner shot - and killed - when Colonial Troops stormed the Eureka Stockade.
But there's also the tale of a Jewish watchmaker named Manasha Flatow, who also had a role in the Eureka story. Manasha, had distant connections not yet fully determined to the two Flatows, awarded gold medals for Germany in the First Olympic Games of 1896, but later murdered by the Nazis.
